Hialeah is the sixth biggest city in Florida. It covers an area of 20 square miles and serves over 220,000 persons. Hialeah is referred to as the “City of Progress” because it was home to migrants from other regions of the world such as Cuba. Hialeah is currently a Hispanic city with over 94% of the people from Mexicans, Puerto Ricans and other Hispanic communities. Hialeah is a close knit community which is a blend of differing ethnicities and nationalities.
